Imiquad Cream (Imiquimod)
Imiquad Cream (Imiquimod) is a type of immune response modifier that stimulates the body`s own immune response system and helps the body fight the Human Papilloma Virus. Use of this medicine can help to treat genital warts (also called condyloma acuminata), however it is not a cure for the virus that causes them.
Wash hands and open a new packet of Imiquad Cream (Imiquimod) just before bedtime. Apply a thin layer of cream on the warts. Rub the cream in until it vanishes. Discard the open packet and wash hands. Leave the cream on the warts for 6 to 10 hours. After 6 to 10 hours, wash the area where cream was applied with mild soap and water. Typically, dosing is once a day, 3 days a week; Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
