Asthalin Rotacaps (Salbutamol 200mcg)
Indication: Treatment and prevention of bronchospasm in patients with reversible airway obstructive disease. Indicated in acute attacks of asthma. It is also indicated in prevention of exercise induced bronchospasm.
Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to salbutamol or any component in preparation.
Dosage & Administration: Available as inhalation aerosol (asthalin inhaler) and dry powder for inhalation (asthalin rotacaps). Zerostat VT Spacer device is useful for Asthalin Inhaler for patients who are unable to synchronize breath inspiration with aerosol actuation. For younger children BabyMask device may be used. Asthalin Rotacaps are inhaled through Rotahaler/ Revolizer.
