Budecort Inhaler 100 mcg (Rhinocort)

Indication: Budecort inhaler is useful in prophylactic and maintenance therapy of asthma. Budecort can reduce the requirement of oral corticosteroid in patients with chronic asthma.

Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to preparation. Budesonide is also contraindicated in status asthmaticus and acute attack of asthma. Not recommended for children less than 5 years of age.

Dosage & Administration: Available as inhalation aerosol. Adult: Can be used by Zerostat inhaler device. Children: Can be used by a baby mask device.

Special Precautions:

• Not for acute attacks, it is for long term management.
• To be used cautiously in case of concomitant pulmonary tuberculosis.
• Cautious use in case of lactation & pregnancy.
