Seroflo Rotacaps 100mg ( Advair Diskus) is used to treat asthma. The fluticasone in Seroflo reduces inflammation in the air passages. Fluticasone propionate is one of a group of medicines called corticosteroids, often referred to as steroids. Corticosteroids are used to treat breathing problems because they have an anti-inflammatory action. Corticosteroids also help to prevent attacks of asthma. The salmeterol in Seroflo relaxes and opens the air passages. This is a preventative medication, taken twice a day.
