Nelvir, Viracept (Nelfinavir Mesylate Tablets) used
Nelvir, Viracept (Nelfinavir Mesylate Tablets) is an oral antiviral medication prescribed to treat patients with HIV. The medication slows the reproduction of HIV cells allowing the immune system to control the spread of the infection easier. It should be noted that this medication is normally prescribed along with others and will not completely eliminate the infection. Your physician may also prescribe it for other purposes that are not listed here. Nelvir, Viracept (Nelfinavir Mesylate Tablets) is typically administered two to three times daily at a dosage of one tablet, but your particular directions will be determined by your physician based on your current health condition and the severity of your symptoms. These should be swallowed with a large glass of water and may be taken on an empty stomach, but a snack or meal is suggested prior to use if you experience nausea. Do not split, chew or crush the tablets to avoid unintentionally destroying or altering the effects of their contents.
