Lenalid 5 mg (Lenalidomide 5mg Capsules) is a medication used to treat patients with a low red blood cell count, and who are anemic, caused by myelodysplastic syndrome. It is also used with a combination of drugs to treat multiple myeloma. Lenalid 5 mg (Lenalidomide 5mg Capsules) is used to treat a certain type of myelodysplastic syndrome (a group of conditions in which the bone marrow produces blood cells that are misshapen and does not produce enough healthy blood cells) caused by an abnormal chromosome. Lenalid 5 mg (Lenalidomide 5mg Capsules) is also used to treat anemia (a lack of red blood cells in the body) and along with dexamethasone for the treatment of multiple myeloma (a type of cancer of the bone marrow) who have received at least one prior therapy.

How much you take and how often will depend on the strength of the medicine and your condition. Lenalid 5 mg (Lenalidomide Capsules) is only available through a special program. Make sure you fully understand the instructions and the warnings associated with the medicine before you start taking it. Take strictly as directed by your physician, with a glass of water, with or without food.

Do not alter your dose or suddenly stop taking it without consulting your physician, even if you are feeling better. If you forget to take a dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Never take a double dose to compensate for the one you missed.

• Fatigue
• Dizziness
• Loss of appetite and weight loss
• Diairrhea

Contact a doctor immediately should side effects persist or encounter more severe side effects such as:

• Change in taste
• Blurred vision
• Irregular heartbeat
• Muscle spasms
• Shortness of breath
• Painful urination
• Jaundice
