Other side effects include changes in the skin such as thinning or colour changes and blood vessels that are close to the skin surface, becoming more visible.

How should Dermol Ointment be used?

Dermol Ointment 0.05% should be used once or twice daily only for a short time, until symptoms improve, as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. You should not use it for longer than recommended. Clean the infected area thoroughly and allow it to dry, then gently rub in the Dermol Ointment until most of it disappears. Use a small amount on a fingertip, just enough to cover the affected area. You should always wash your hands after applying the medication and make sure you don’t get any in your eyes, nose or mouth. When should Dermol Ointment not be used?

You should not use Dermol Ointment if you:

What to do if you miss a dose of Dermol Ointment

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not apply a double dose to make up for a missed one.

How should Dermol Ointment be stored?

Store Dermol below 25°C (77°F) and keep it out of direct sunlight. Heat and direct sunlight can reduce the effectiveness of this medicine.
